Medical & Recreational Dispensary Lapeer – Intro

With the recent rise of dispensaries offering medicinal marijuana (in California, there may be as many as 80 medical marijuana dispensaries in Sacramento), there has also been an increase of interest in using medical marijuana as a food supplement.Do you want to learn more? Visit Dispensaries

Marijuana’s two active ingredients (cannabinoids) can also be added to the list of known food additives. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) were discovered to have an antioxidant effect that protects cells from free radical damage as early as 1998.

The antioxidant industry—or, more accurately, the multibillion-dollar multivitamin industry—produces a plethora of items containing all imaginable vitamin combinations to keep the body healthy and the skin beautiful on a regular basis. Among the vitamins in these products, the vitamins C and E-THC and CBD were found to be more effective antioxidants than these.

The findings of the study are fascinating. Marijuana extracts have been shown to be effective in treating or preventing strokes, Alzheimer’s disease, and heart attacks.

Chemists have since produced synthetic chemicals with THC-like properties (the “solid” chemical contained in marijuana) and CBD-like properties (which won’t get you high).

THC-like synthetics K2 and Spice are derived from cannabicyclohexanol, which is present in marijuana. Dexanabinol is a synthetic opioid that is similar to CBD.

When there are billions of dollars to be found, reform will not be forgotten. Despite this, the US government applied for and received US Patent 6630507 in 2003 for the manufacture of marijuana-like compounds for use as antioxidants and brain protectants.

The fact that marijuana is still illegal may be the driving force behind this decision. That is, it will be in the government’s (and private companies’) best interests to keep marijuana extracts illegal so that synthetic equivalents can continue to be produced.

Don’t hold your breath for federal drug legalisation anytime soon, despite America’s schizophrenic position on marijuana (THC is legal as a medicine in some states but remains illegal at the federal level). Instead, CBD-infused health food supplements could be marketed in pharmacies, and THC-rich extracts could be used in legal medical marijuana clinics as relief for the terminally ill and debilitated (though this is unlikely).

There is strong evidence that THC / CBD is involved in almost every important function of life, including the production of substances in the body. That’s one of the reasons they’re such good cell protectors.
